Configuring the meter in the mobile application
Note: Users can use two meters with different addresses. Additionally, there will be settings for these energy meters in the installer menu (these settings are the same for both energy meters).
1. Make sure your charger firmware and application are updated to the latest version. (←Release notes: Firmware and iOS / Android).
2. Enter the Installer menu, select Load Balancing, then Modbus RTU.
3. If the charger does not recognize the meter, go to Manual Setup to use a device preset (choose the model of your meter) or enter the settings from the RS485 parameters table manually.
Once the meter is successfully configured, press Connect. You will receive a confirmation screen and its status will change to "Connected".
If you get the status:
Disconnected - wrong EVSE parameter value is set or meter is not wired correctly.
Wrong type - the meter configuration does not match one that is currently connected.
Not supported - the connected meter is not compatible with the installation.
