USE CASES
Depending on the installation, the most common installation types are listed here. In the configuration table mentioned only the parameters that must be changed
1.Installation without the Smart meter
Installation type, when TeltoCharge is connected without any other device from where the data could be used. In that kind of installations, it’s important to limit TeltoCharge to prevent breaking Circuit Breaker.
| Setting | Value | Explanation |
|---|---|---|
| Power selector switch | Must be selected according to the installation details | Link to QUG |
| Connectivity | Connect TeltoCharge to your local Wifi | Link to QUG |
| 3 phase charging | ON | Link to QUG |
| Phase priority | Select phase from which you would to charge when operating on single phase mode | Link to QUG |
2.Installation with the smart meter using DLB
Installation type, when TeltoCharge is connected with the Smart meter (list to supported smart meters) . TeltoCharge have the ability to communicate with dedicated smart energy meter and regarding to its readings, adjust used electrical power. Such functionality allows to protection house electrical grid from overload in peak hours and optimize energy usage to meet user habits. A smart energy meter should always be installed in source electrical cabinet as showed below.

You also could limit the maximum output to the CAR |
Example |
| Connectivity | Connect TeltoCharge to your local Wifi | Example |
| Location is ventilated | Change to yes, if installation is outside | Example |
| 3 phase charging | ON | Example |
| Phase priority | Select phase from which you would to charge when operating on single phase mode | Example |
| Dynamic Load Balancing | Select what you would be using:
Enable Dynamic Load Balancing |
Example |
| Max grid Load | Select the value of the main house inlet | Example |
| Solar Charging | If Solar panels are installed, this function should be turned on | Example |
| Search for device | TeltoCharge will try to establish communication with the Modbus RTU device | Example |
| Other Funtionalities | Here you could read more about all other functionalities | Example |
3.Installation of more than one charger (Dynamic Load Management)
Installation type, where a group of TeltoCharges are installed. Dynamic load management is a sophisticated feature that empowers users to efficiently control electric load by managing a group of chargers installed within a single circuit. Through the implementation of Modbus RS-485 communication or local internet, the chargers are able to communicate with one another and dynamically adjust their charging power in response to the load on the grid, ensuring optimal charging operations and grid stability.
