FAQ
1. How to access the installer settings?
To access the installer menu, first TeltoCharge have to be paired with phone via Bluetooth and after finishing setup installer can access installer menu through settings with security code.
2. Where can I find installer code?
Installer code can be found on the sticker on the Teltocharge mid plate.
3. How to reset TeltoCharge?
To factory reset device, go to application settings > Device info > and press Restore factory default settings. Note: these settings restore only user settings. Settings which are set through Installer menu won’t change.
4. How to reboot TeltoCharge?
To reboot charger go to TeltoCharge application > settings > Reboot device.
5. How to calculate Power Limit?
Power limit have to be calculated by installer in accordance on the electrical load in the area. Maximum power can’t exceed the limit set at the electric panel.
6. How to set maximum power limit?
Maximum power can be set through installer menu > Max current. Maximum current should be set by installer in accordance on the electrical load in the area. User have the ability to lower the current with Load balancing function any time or increase up to maximum installer set.
7. How to add/remove NFC cards/tags?
NFC cards/tags can be added via application. Go to settings > Add new card. After naming a new card/tag user have to touch NFC card/tag to the side of the charger.
8. Can I increase charging speed?
Charging speed depends on input voltage and current. User can change current through TeltoCharge application > settings > Load balancing. The maximum current is set by the installer in the installer menu. User can only lower or set current up to maximum installer set.
9. The charging speed is not as expected
Charging speed depends on input voltage and current. The higher input voltage/current the higher power charger charges. Different EV have different charging power acceptance. If charger charges at 11 kW and for example user have Nissan Leaf 2018 which has 6.6 kW maximum power acceptance. The maximum charging power can be only 6.6 kW it does not depend on charger.
10. Can the charger measure the energy consumption of the charging?
Yes, charger has got built-in energy meter which measures energy consumption and delivers DATA to TeltoCharge application.
11. I have two different EV models, can I charge both cars with the TeltoCharge charger?
TeltoCharge can be used to charge different EV models. Different EV models can have different type of charging sockets. User have to have suitable cable, or suitable plug to charge EV with different than Type 2 connector.
12. Can I use my own charging cable?
User have possibility to use his own charging cable. Untethered TeltoCharge charger have type 2 socket, which is used to connect charging cable.
13. Can I install TeltoCharge by myself?
Installation of the charger must be done only by the personnel with relevant qualifications under the applicable local regulations.
