An RCBO (Residual Current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent protection) is a single electrical safety device that combines the functions of a Residual Current Device (RCD) and a Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB). It protects circuits from two types of electrical faults: earth leakage currents (which RCDs protect against) and overcurrents (like overloads and short circuits, which MCBs protect against). If the household already does not posses a seperate RCD, this device allows to speed up the charger installation with a combined device to safely operate the EV charger. 1 phase and 3 phase versions available. | |||
